1796- Author Aloys Senfilder delopes lithographi, This was the first planogrammic printing method used, that means that there were used a flat surface and set the stage of modern printing.
1800- Lord Staphon discovered printing press teqnic. Ths teqniqe makes it possible to print in bigger size. with cast iron parts this was a revolutionary way of printing.
Digital revelution..
photoshop makes it possible for graphicaln designers to work in a different way, and outfold the art of designing. Back to the late 20 centery the grapichal design was based on hand writhing,and photograpich reproduction.
The big digital revelution is rigth after the internett. The internet opend up for a hole new aria of grapic design activity.
Revelutionary change to typeface
Industrial revolution made a hole new worldto typography was created, designed and produced. Ottmar Merganthaler created in 1886 a Liontype machine. This machine was funcsonated as a typewrighter. This lend to the posibility to mass production. That infected also how the typeface was done and how it was designed and produced. it was now possible to print 10 000 sheets in one hour.

William Morris, born in England in 1834 and concider as one of the most famus designer in the 19th century. he was one of the founders of British design movement Art and Craft. He is also known as designer of wallpapers as well as a sosialist movement.
There is noe one alone that can be named as inventor of the halftone, but it is a big part of this timeline. Halftone is a tecnique to brake up an image in to small dots. Imagen that you brake down a piqture all the way down. Then you can see the small dots.
