George Estermann. born i New york in 1854.
I have coosen to write about George Esterman the man that evented the roll film in 1988. This man evented the photographic film and founder of Estman Kodak. In my opinion, Esterman is an wery importent inventor becouse of the way he let normal people be a part of the photographic world. The way everyone can use a camera to dokument importent happenings and nice plases in life.

This is the first roll-film hand hold camera. published in 1888, by enventoir, George Esnerman.
Estman was the one that introduced the kodac camera and everyone coud take photo with a hand hold camera with ony pressing a button. And the slogen he chosed was: you press the button, we do the rest.
Esterman born i 1854, in a place named Waterwill in New york. in 1860 George and his family moved to Rochester, but two years later his dad died suddenly, George left scool in the age of 14 to help his mom financially. He then worked in an insurece company and later in Rochester savings bank.
At the age of 23, George was motivated to take a camera to vacation. He did never go thrue with the vacation,but he became fully intrested in photography. But George did see a lot of potential of improvement. So he spend 3 years working with improvements, by using gelatin emulsions. By 1880 he had invented a dry-plate improvement.
In the year of 1881, George, started with financial help from Henry Strong. Esterman dry plate company, in 1884 the name changes to Esterman dry plate and film company. in 1892 it changed to Kodak company.
The first camera was sold in 1888, later it was lounched a new camera, the first Brownie camera witch was made for the children. This camera was louched in 1900, and it was a big success. The camera was wery primitive and easy to use. Even ifthe camera was made for children, there was serval important and seriuse people used the camera. It was produced more than 150 000 of this camera within the first year. The last camera of this type was made in 1986.
In 1927, the Kodak company was the largest company in the industry of U.S.
The Kodac company invented a easy to use camera, the camera was for everybothy to use and with a flexibel film that was critical contribution to the lounche of the motion piqture industry.
Esterman was concern with that his employess shoud have more than just payment for the job, but also a remuniration based on share dividends
Esterman ment that if a man had is ritch, he shiuld take a chiose when there is a lot of money, He shose to give a lot of his money to Massachusetts institute og theclology, they was given anonymously by a deck name, MR. Smith. And he choose to give his family work for thge future.
Sadly Esterman was diagnosed with progressive and irreversible spinal disease. In March 1932, he ended his own life. He left a note saying; my work is done. Why wait?
